She had a choice of high tea at Raffles or the chocolate bar at Marina Sands. I don't think she was disappointed.

We went across the road to the temple where they were celebrating the 9 emperors of god festival. |

The street was decorated and it was a big deal with floats and a week of rituals and festivities. |

Everything was set out in 9s. Daoism has a complicated mythology with multi layered heavens and hells. |
