Singapore Term 2 2011

This term has been busy with work, school, exams (all round) and a range of social activities

One outstanding adventure was a 112 k night ride with a kid from school & his cycling group.
We started at Thompson headed round through Mandai - Kranji and Choa Chu Kang across west coast - through the city at midnight - east coast -and ended up eating Nasi Lemak at Changi Village at 2.00am.
I finally go home at 5.30 in the morning!!

We did a Sunday morning walk through China town stopping off at a few temples

Spent a while hanging around the Salvidor Dali Sculpture near Raffles Interchange

The work on Bishan Park has turned another corner and the new bridge outside out back gate has opened

We took our new house guest Maria to eat in Kampong Glam

Park renovations moving along - The Kallang river lives again

Walking in MacRitchie Resevoir - one of the magnificient trees I pass on the way in

An afternoon stroll through the Botanical Gardens
